Do you believe? Mark 9:19-27  أتؤمن

Do we believe that Jesus can give us salvation? Is Jesus enough for us in all circumstances?
Do we live according to the teachings of Christ? Has our life changed after believing in Christ?
Our way to salvation and eternal life start when we believe in Christ as the Lord and Saviour.

Knowledge, understanding and wisdom Prov.2:1-6     المعرفة والفهم والحكمة أمثال 2: 1-6

The knowledge is the first step to a firm faith in Christ and His salvation. If we don’t know Him, we will be shaken in every small wind. Then we need to understand to where the knowledge leads. The final step wisdom is to practice knowledge and understanding in our lives.

How Christ appears in the world?  كيف يظهر المسيح في العالم؟     Matt.26:47, 56, Luke 24:13-52, John 12:20-24, 2.Cor.4:7-11

After Jesus was taken from Gethsemane, all the disciples ran away. They were afraid, terrified and confused. After Jesus was crucified, died on the cross, buried and resurrected, Jesus appeared to the disciples and their souls were lifted up. Jesus transformed them to be joyful and courageous witnesses. Does the world see in us the power of His resurrection in our lives today?

The sower and the seeds  الزرع والزارع   Matt.13:1-9,18-23, 1 Cor:3:6-7, Gen.22:16-18, Ps 126:5-6, Luke 19:20-21

“…For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap.” Gal.6:7   Everyone from us is a sower. What we sow, we will reap its fruit. What are we sowing in our life, good or bad seeds?

God’s purpose for your life   هدف الله لحياتك    Eph. 2:10, 2 Tim.1:9, Ex.9:16, Ester 4:13-14, Gal.5:22-23, Acts 26:12-18

Many are passing times of frustrations, challenges and pain, which makes them wonder: What is the purpose of all this? Many come to the conclusion, that there is neither purpose nor meaning in this life. But actually with the Lord you will live meaningful and abundant life.

Leaving everything and following Jesus   ترك كل شيء واتباع يسوع   Luke 9:57-62, Luke 14:25-27, Luke18:18-23, John 13:34-35

Following Jesus means leaving behind bad habits, the spirit of the world and our old sinful way of life. It is hard for many to leave things that are obstacles between God and them. Big joy and reward is waiting for each faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

The will of God in the hard times  Luke 22:39-42    مشيئة الله في الأوقات الصعبة

Jesus asked from His Father, if it is possible to take the cup of pain from Him. But He added, not His will but the will of Father shall be. The world around us is full of evil, wars, pandemics. In the midst of challenges it looks hard to live according to the will of God, but if we do, it gives us relief and peace.

Why do you ask for the day of the Lord  لماذا تطلبون يوم الرب    Amos 5:18-20, Hab.3:16-19, Zeph.2:1-3, 1 Thess.5:1-11

Many cry to the Lord, asking that His day will come quickly and come to help them. Are we really ready for the day of the Lord? Are our debts paid? Do we repent, ask forgiveness and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour? Jesus already paid the price. Let us care that we are covered in His blood.

It is us and not others  هذا نحن وليس آخرين   Sam.12:1-9, Luke 6:41-42, Matt.7:1-2, Room. 2:1-6, 3:10,23, Ps.51:1-12

Many (also believers) are quick to blame and judge others and they don’t have mercy for mistakes of others. Even they do the same things they shamelessly point finger towards others. This happened with King David. He realized his guilt only when prophet Nathan faced him with his deeds. God is merciful but also fair judge.

Do not refuse to hear the voice of God    لا ترفض أن تسمع صوت الله     Hebr.12:18-29, Isaiah 24:18-20, 2 Tim.4:3, Hebr.3:7-11

People may ignore the teaching of Christ thinking: “Nothing bad has happened to us even we don’t believe in Him.” But no one can ignore the day of the Lord. No one can escape standing in front of His throne. The noises of the world try hard to disturb people from hearing the voice of the Lord.

Selfpity – Do not live a life of victimhood   االشفقة الذاتية – لا تحيا حياة الضحية     Prov.17:22, 1 Peter 5:7, Ps.73:3-28, 37:3-11, Phil.4:6-8

Many things in our life makes us to be sad, disappointed, blackmailed, heartbroken or deceived. In these circumstances you easily start to have pity party, become bitter with full of complaints. You can also choose to lift up your eyes to the Lord letting Him comfort, heal and restore your heart.

I don’t want to be afraid    لا أريد أن أخاف   Ps.121, Ps.55:22, Matt.10:28, Ps.23:1-4

Someone said, when you feed your faith and don’t feed your fear, fear will starve to death. It is important to be aware of what is happening around us. We shouldn’t ignore neither be terrified from unseen virus or enemy. We should feed our faith with the words, teachings and example of Jesus

God is omniscient and knows everything  الله كلي المعرفة ويعلم كل شيء   Ps. 139:1-6, Rev.20:12, Jer.31:34

Everyone has many things in the mind and wants no one to know about them. But there is someone who knows all of our thoughts and He is omniscient, all knowing God. He doesn’t use his knowledge to hurt or shame us, but He wants to fix our lives so that we can enter into the Promised Land.

The Passover, it is Finished  الفصح …قد أُكمل  John 19:28-30,  3:16, 17:4, 11:25, Matt.27:59-60, 1Thess.4:13-18

When Lord of glory died on the cross, He said it is finished. The work that the heavenly Father sent him to do,  was completed. Also the old testament prophesies about Messiah were completed. But there needs to be also resurrection, for our salvation

Where are we going after our feasts  إلى أين نذهب بعد أعيادنا  Ex.15:1-2, 16:2-3, Matt.28:18-20, Gal.5:5-6, 2 Piet.2:20-22

We celebrated Palm Sunday and Passover. It was really special and blessed time. After feast starts daily life. How we plan to live it? Are we Christians only in holy days, or do we live according to the teaching of Jesus also in our daily life?

Fill your stores  Gen.41:53-57    املأ مخازنك تَّكْوِين 41: 53-57

There was the great famine in the time of Jacob. Many left to Egypt to get wheat and food. The stores in Egypt were filled with wheat and all knew where to go to find food. Now a days many are starving spiritually. Are we aware of this famine? Are our spiritual stores filled with God’s food?

Obedience   الطاعة  Matt.21:6-20, Num.32:11-12, John6:66-69, Luke18:18, Hebr. 5:9, Luke11:28

One of the biggest challenges for us, who want to follow Jesus, is obedience. Already in the beginning Adam and Eve failed to obey God in the only commandment given to them. Disobedience is still the problem for the humanity in general and for those, who want to follow of Christ.

To meet God    التقابل مع الله      Job 42:1-5, Ps.24:1, Isa.6:5, Luke 5:8, Ps.51:6-13

It is great and wonderful that a person takes responsibility on his acts and admits his mistakes. But why it happens so seldom? Instead, people start to defend their actions and blame others, even God. The real change comes only when we meet personally with the Lord.

Don’t remain tied in the past  لا تبقى مقيد في الماضي    Matt.5:23-26, Ecc.3:6, Gen.41:51, Matt.5:29-30, Mark 11:25

Many times a person feels that he cannot move forward in his life. It happens mainly because he is still tied to “some business” or evil things from the past. This steals our time and keeps us in pain and confusion. Let the past go and let God heal your heart and deal with your enemy.

The faithfulness with the gifts of God   الأمانة مع عطايا الله  Ps.119:129-136, 42:1, 37:3, Pro.28:20, Ps.84:10

God is giving people endless gifts and blessings: life, mercy, light, peace, comfort, forgiveness, and the most of all, Redemption and Salvation by Jesus. Are we faithfully using these free gifts or do we bury them to the ground because we don’t understand the great value of them.

Who is your opponent?       من هو خصمك؟   Matt.5:25-26, 1 Piet.5:8, Rev.5:5, John 10:10-11, 15

When a person walks with Jesus, the devil will be his opponent and even enemy, that will never let him walk in peace. In the other hand, when a person walks according to the world orders and morals, he will make Jesus his opponent, because He hates the sin. With which opponent do you want to make peace?

What is the direction of your journey?    ما هو اتجاه مسيرتك؟     Matt.4:18-24, 9:9, Phil.3:12-14, Luke 14:27-30

There is saying: A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Did you already take the first step in the most important journey of your life, the journey of Christ’s way to His kingdom.

Belief and unbelief   الإيمان وعدم الإيمان  John.9:24-38, 40-41, Isaiah 8:11-15, Luke 20:17-18, 1 Peter 5:5, Matt.5:10

Different people face the same situations, but they understand them differently and make different conclusions and decisions of them. On the same way, when we meet Jesus Christ and His teaching, for some people the news are good and for some bad – the saving ark or stumbling block.

Do we change     التغيير   Eph.4:17-19, 20-24, John 6:29, 8:43, 17:3, Ecc. 2:11, Ps. 1:3

Time is “flying” quickly and everything around us is changing constantly. Also we as the people are changing, and the question is: From what to what are we changing? It is hard for a person to change by his power his spiritual condition. We need the help of Jesus for that.

Hiding the truth   إخفاء الحق  Rom. 1:18-21, Luke 12:32, 1 Kings 19:13-18, Matt. 5:10-12, 2 Cor. 1:3-4

Many in this world try to hide truth, that would harm them if it will be revealed. Their business, their good name and reputation will be destroyed, if they will be caught from their lies and deception. But how hard and long a man tries to hide it, finally everything will be exposed under the light of Jesus.

The truth and the delusion  الحق والباطل John 15:19, 1Kings 18:21-26, 36-39, 1Thess. 5:21, , 1John 1:6-7, 5:3-5

Who knows the truth has peace and is relieved. He is free of fears and delusions and he knows, where he is going. Jesus said: “I am the Truth”. No matter how loud you shout, it will not make wrong things right. In contrary, no matter how hard is the way of truth, it will be victorious.
